Oh lord, I used to have a pair of those shades. Bright blue. Hmm... I wonder if there's a way to incorporate that 'neon sunrise' effect into a functional design for shades? It'd be some of the most concentrated 80's essence ever distilled if so.

Oh so that is the Atari 2600 hundred. My sister had one as a child, it looked a little different.

There were two models of 2600. There was the 1977 wood-paneled "Atari Video Computer System" which is more famous.

Then, there was the 1986 "2600" model that launched as a desperate bid to reclaim market share in video games from the NES.

I know, right? When no one judged you for using passwords or cheat codes, and in fact, if you knew how to do them and when, you were worshipped.

A time when the biggest video game in the world could fit in the tiniest corner of a single modern ringtone, and yet to us it felt as big as the world itself.

A single megabyte or less of code could turn a child into a questing warrior or an ace pilot for hours at a time.
