2019 was a crazy year for me! It was really "The Year of Melde"! I have never done so much in one year before, and I think it shows!

This year, I attended 12 cons, 11 of which I was a dealer at! WHEW! My job took me to so many different cities, and I've seen so much more of the US now, starting off with Raleigh, NC for the now defunct (☹) ACE, and ending with a New Year's Eve celebration in Newark, DE for NYFB! 🎉

Summertime brought my first con I art staffed for! It was absolutely amazing to see my art on posters and in the conbook at Megaplex. Megaplex has been one of my favorite cons for years (and my first one I ever did Dealer's Den at, way back when), so it's about time I gave back!

Fall saw my second time as art staff, with my new favorite local con, ASE! This little con has been consistently wonderful, so I am thrilled to be helping out with my local con! 💙

I also began work on my newest series, the Booze Babes! In 2019, the world was introduced to Vanya Vodka, Amelie Absinthe, Marie Merlot, and the ever-popular Molly Moonshine! I can't wait to continue working on this series in 2020, starting off with Sake! 🍻

And, probably best of all, are all of the new friends I made this year. I don't want to list you all since I don't want to miss anyone, but you know who you are! 💙 You all have made 2019 one of the best years ever!

Onward to 2020!!
