Just a bit of a thing I made to see how my art has progressed over the past decade!!
I really did get worse at drawing in 2018 haha my hand was a claw :')
Current goals are to GET BETTER AT BACKGROUNDS and study color theory

I hope you take at least a little pride in how fabulously your artwork has evolved over time. That's not a trivial feat considering how many people in the world can barely come close to what you sketched in 2010.
And I feel okay in complimenting you on it since I doubt it's something that would go to your head after so much effort to improve your work. A garden variety egotist who sketches would rarely attempt to improve because they would assume their initial work is already perfect. Someone with more of a gift of practical self-reflection tempered with humility will develop a habit of judging each piece and think "is this really what I want the final product to look like". And in a lot of cases the answer will be "no", because in a conflicting yet strangely productive way the artist is both critically admitting to themselves the original piece was not ideal while at the same time acknowledging they are capable of producing something even better.

Thank you so much! I do feel good about my progress, absolutely. I've never stressed out too much about where I'm at artistically - just sort of chugged away at it over the years, enjoying myself as I go along, always trying to find more inspiration. I'm never 100% satisfied with a piece, but you're right, that's what keeps me learning.
