BOY have I got a lot to say about this character who is very special to me, Stith.
For those of you who don't know me, Titan A.E. Was one of the many movies I grew up with back in the year 2000, and Stith was admittedly my very first cartoon character crush and is the main reason I started to become a furry in the first place.
Spore was the game to which I discovered I was a furry after I made a certain orange dragon in creation mode to represent myself in the game. But it was most likely this character here that woke my inner furry.
There's a lot of things about her that caused me to immediately crush on her. Her kangaroo-like appearance, those legs that are the most bizarre yet unique thing about her, and her being the weapons specialist of the team that even duel wielded two cannons during a chase scene (one of which knocked the main character off the boat when he attempted to use one of them) along with her cranky/hot-tempered attitude.
All of this caused me to fall for her more each time I saw her onscreen.
Janeane Garofalo did a pretty good job with portraying this characters tone and attitude, and I always loved her cheering battle cries during the scenes in the movies when she's mounted on a big gun, especially during the climactic final battle in the movie.
And at last I finally have my hands on a 3D model of her to pose and animate!

Which I didn't only just fine fitting because of it being all actiony now, but this was also a game back in the year 2000 that I also grew up with.

Titan A.E has always been that movie that I pull out at my friends if they havnt seen a cool alien movie. i had the chance to see it in theaters when i was younger with my brothers but i was about 5 at that time so i decided not to go. Feels like a bummer now but i was happy to have it on VHS later and watching all the bonus material at the end. was such a cool movie along side treasure planet.
This issue is nine months old.

God damn I want this so badly. Stith is one of my favorite alien girls out there, and I always did want to include her in some sci-fi animations myself. I wanted a good 3D model of her for a long time, even before Source Film Maker. Of course, there are others around. But this one I love the most.
Hey that's really impressive! It's great to see more Stith anything out there. Working with her, or mantrin legs in general, is never an easy task, whether you're drawing it or modeling it in 3D, heh. I really like her pants bunching up around the knees though, that's a nice detail.
I know, right?
I was amazed at how well-made the model was.

And who knows, maybe someday Gundragon will release it to the public, but until then it's his call, as he is the one that commissioned for it.

HOLY COW THIS IS SO GOOD! She's definitely a youngster-crush of mine too. I created a character of her species because I think the world needs more of them (I call them Mantrins, but as near as I can tell the movie's literature is kind of unclear about whether it's Sogowan or Mantrin)

They've grown unto me, and I doubt I would have remembered this character if it weren't for that unique thing about her.
You can't deny, you see a character like that, you won't forget it... and here I am, 21 years later, and I've developed a huge crush on this character, so you have no idea how happy I am to finally have a 3D model of her. <3
