Perhaps Eternal might not have been one of the attacking rodents if he was just a visitor to this realm though I suppose he might have been involved in other crimes, stealing the finest cheeses from the royal pantry or spying on the ladies in waiting in their boudoirs or the like. Though it's possible he could even have been an innocent bystander caught up in things if he was just unlucky.

He does seem to be fairly calm regarding his situation though I guess he might just be assessing the quality of this particular bondage perhaps noting that they've done a good job though they are docked a few marked for neglecting the tail, a common mistake though one that a lot of people make. Unless he's shortly to be told that the punishment for his crimes will be a term of imprisonment but also that his tail will be docked come sunrise and so he'll have to use his wits and escape his predicament.
