So I did this over the space of like....2 weeks. I put a lot of effort into this piece to make up for not uploading anything for over a month.
I really hope you all like it.
4 lucky people are getting an xmas card with this as the cover sent to them in the mail. unfortunately cuz this took so long to finish (i have also been REALLY busy) i wont get to them until probably after new years. sorry guys =p
I'm going to get a nice frame for the original. Unfortunately its going to be hard since the original is about 12cm x 17cm. I don't even know if they make frames in that size.
Anyway, I used my Birds of Australia Field Guide book to get a photo reference, and this is drawn from the photo.

Used: Prismacolor and Derwent Studio pencils for colour and Fabre Castel pencils for sketch.
Time: approx 2 weeks (on and off)
