I did the sketch in October 2009, when waiting for the vet's call (after Ashati's stroke). I found the sketch again and finished it for Further Confusion 2010. As it was a personal sketch, it turned out to be my character Tani in her spiritual wolf form (WeuUkoo).
Done with markers and colored pencils, size 3.5"x5" (mini).
(background / sky is kinda sketchy... need to take different paper next time)

I so know how you must have felt and still feel, milady... I've been in constant fear for several months over my sweet torty kitty who had two strokes, and a few dizzy spells in between. She's still not back to normal, very thin, although her sense of balance has as good as completely returned.

I hope you will be able to cherish the sweet memories of the good times you've had with Ashati without feeling the pain of the loss, milady. And know that he is on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, looking down at you with a purr and waiting patiently for the day you will be reunited again =^_^=

I love your art so much... it's been over a decade, and I have this "collection" of your work now. Even in admiration of a Tani original, which hangs on my wall to this day.
I know your pain, I've been there. I've been dealing with my loss of Oscar, my own cat, for almost a year now. He died last year just before I went to AC '09. It was really hard for me.
I hope you can make it to AC '10. We always love having you there.
