Nah, no watersports this time, despite the omnious title. Tried out a new colouring technique with this one...
So, here we have an old character: Masuta-sama, the eastern dragon. He's watching TV and has recently fallen victim to a soap-opera. Tough luck. Said soap-opera is prone to show its episodes in marathons, various episodes chained together that require you to watch permanently if you don't want to miss anything of the really original storyline. One obstacle to achieve this is one's own metabolism. So, what does the old master do instead of leaving the room to head for the facilities? He heads to the facilities, without leaving the room. Being a snake-like creature surely pays off, especially when your head needs to be in a different room than your rear.
So, this image is a little crazy, I admit it. The idea is actually a little older, and Masuta-sama was supposed to do that trick in a comic strip, but well... It didn't quite work out. So, it was fun to draw a lung again after a while. They're interesting. There's also that nice cactus, which is... uh.... nice... I don't know oO
"Heartshroom Shippers Avenue" is a soap-opera I once made up as a meaningless gag. The image's title is based on the "Bladder of Steel" from tvtropes.org. It kinda deals with the same problem...
