I've long wondered where supervillains get their minions. I mean, here's a bunch of guys who, for some unstated reason, follow and obey a guy who's clearly deranged. Even after the villain chucks a few into the ol' volcano, or shoots a couple of them just to impress the others that he ain't kiddin' around, they STILL obey him.
And not just in the movies, either. What attracts people to follow crime bosses? Terrorist captains? Mad demogogues? Some may not have a choice, but others clearly get some kind of pleasure out of breaking stuff and hurting people, and don't mind the feeling that they're playing musical chairs with a maniac.
