made his hair different/more retro-lookin and made his outfit make sense (it used to be this weird blend of black tie and white tie styles but now it's just a simple red tux with a shawl lapel). mainly i just wanted him to have a style more distinctive to the aesthetic/time period i'm aiming for with him; my other demon, duke, is very strongly set in the style of 30's jazz/swing, while i've always wanted mal to invoke 50s-60s lounge with a general air of upper-class evil. very bond-villain-esque.

i'll probably end up giving him a new ref soon; he always seems to be the only one i regularly make thorough refs for.
