Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca as serpents rip Cipactli apart
Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca turn into serpents and descent to the world where they seize the beast, Cipactli, by the limbs. Quetzalcoatl takes her right foot and Tezcatlipoca takes her left arm and pull her apart. The half Quetzalcoatl tears off, he takes up to the air with him where he creates the sky, whereas Tezcaltipoca takes his half of the deceased beast and creates the earth with the features of her body.
The higher gods in the Aztec pantheon are enraged at their crass act and demand the creations (people) of the fifth world pay tribute as a result.
This is probably my favourite image out of them all. I was SO PSYCHED TO DRAW THE ACTUAL SERPENT PART THAT I PUT SO MUCH DESIGN INTO THEM. Quetzalcoatl in particular was based off of many illustrations of the god in his serpent form and several statue elements including:

and this san jose one i was enthralled to actually see at FurCon long after I used it as a reference and made these images from.

airu for assisting with the inking here. However I went in and edited this particular one a bit myself.

Its amazingly creative, I truly admire it a whole lot because of it's originality. Awsome work, thus I admire the information you introduced about the whole picture itself. It has neat lines, smooth and has good quality, not to mention it has meaning to it. As bad as I feel for the girl, it's a wonderful piece of art and I truly appreciate it. I admit, I admire how you made them seem ancient in a way too for their desings and eyes. Well done
I love all these Aztec type pieces! it's really cool how you can make a statue so dynamic. PROPS TO YOU AND AIRU
and wow, I totally didn't notice that last statue had a cool face. D: I WISH I HAD LOOKED AT IT BETTER, I was across the street and I was thinking how it looked like a poop. and now I'm sad that I thought that, because that's a rad statue.

It would be cool to have them coloured, whether it'd be you or Airu.
This is rather awesome, but I seem to love all of them. :) I don't know if there's anyone else who have drawn this much on the Aztec mythologies (except Quetzalcoatl does get a lot of the limelight).

While in human form, Quetzalcoatl is adorned in poke' balls:
