Asheru in Pathfinder Again.
I think I posted another Picture of Asheru in her Pathfinder Garb. So a couple of years ago, I got involved in a Pathfinder Campaign on Roll20.net I was able to piece together through some home brew rules, a version of Asheru in Pathfinder. (Barbarian Lupine) She was one of two lupines in the party (The other was Waya: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28856281/ ), the rest being various non-humans. The Adventure was "Emerald Spire", and I had a lot of fun with it, but sadly the GM Got a job, and the Campaign ended abruptly. Shortly before the end, we got involved in a fight, where Asheru was blinded by a curse, and it was a long way out, and no one had a Greater Restore. I was close to getting another level/ Feat, and would have purchased "Blind fighting" to offset the penalties for blindness in combat, and she already had tracking scent, and superior hearing, so blindness would not have been so much of a handicap, in the time before they could go back to civilization and buy a Greater Restore. (if available). So as a tabletop character she worked rather well, and was an unusual Barbarian, very polite and diplomatic. Fun.

Mean, but true.
I have found that 5e D&D rules are pleasant enough. Pathfinder was just 3rd Edition D&D with the serial numbers filed off. I have no experience with Pathfinder Mk. II. My preference though is Herosystem. I used to GM Fantasy Hero for years, and already have an Asheru build in Hero for about 180 pts.

I think the players who ran barbarians had some of my favorite characters. A buddy had a half-orc barbarian he put some INT points into and he became the party's accountant. Another was a barbarian bard named Petra Towns who really enjoyed using her lute to smash things.
Also, good on ya for using the curse to build up the character. I've had a player or two rage quit a session, or worse, refuse to take any action (unless to led to them being restored) because they didn't have immediate access to restorative items or magic and felt I was intentionally gimping their character.

OMG "sadly the GM Got a job" literally happened to me.
This friend-of-a-friend once had an unusual campaign prepared, for a Paladin-heavy game where we would have been the town watch. Think your typical cop show, but in a fantasy medieval city. The day of the first session he literally tells us "I can't play DnD anymore. I have a job now."
As if in his mind DnD is something you do when you got nothing better to do, and not like, y'know, an actual legit hobby or something.
Asheru as a blind fighter is a really cool idea ^^
