This is a quick recording of exercise 11 of Michael Romeo's "The Guitar Chapter", at about half speed. A friend of mine on FA (Antarius) sent me a downloaded copy of it and I've been working on some of the licks given! Pretty neat stuff.
Romeo says this is a Paganini caprice, and it's a little tricky to play, right near the end you have to do an arpeggio note by note, but still play that high droning note inbetween.
Recorded on the Caparison Horus, which is now sporting a Dimarzio X2N in the bridge, and a soon to be replaced stock pickup in the neck.
