Decided to try something new style-wise: no lines. It was pretty fun and I like how it looks, so I think I'll try it again sometime.
Looks like some kind of disagreement between a fruit merchant and a customer, or perhaps a thief. I decided to give them some distinctive markings just for fun.
This one includes some text from my original writing systems! I'll probably post more about these later, but here's some transliterations and translations:
The sign on the building: "Zaile" (fruit)
The label on the box: "Radh" (new)
The sign on the window in the background: "Masa" (tea) and "Chapki" (noodle soup)
This alphabet is based on the Korean writing system in that it combines letters into syllable blocks. So it probably looks Chinese-esque, but it's actually purely phonetic.
You can barely see the text on the wall behind the merchant due to her position and the shading, but it also says "zaile," just in a different alphabet. That's a new one I've been working on recently and I felt like adding it to the picture.
