Now back to what is canon. I knew this quiet peaceful time couldn't last. For this chapter while not as bad as some jumping back and forth, the fact the writers have done that to my Meika isn’t good. But you can see how this could still work for the episode. Also there have been some more idiots with giving me a hard time thanks to some tattle tales and the result is losing art. Everyone, mind your damn business and let me do what I’m doing to fight against the horrid and abomination of images out there. Also to the ones who saying Meika belongs with that asshole Pike, they need to get that shit out of their heads. It’s not canon. They will never be a couple ever again nor have they gone beyond dating. That especially goes for the guy who hates me the most whose having a horrid image done again of my Meika. He’s doing this on purpose to piss me off. Especially since he can’t draw, only commission. If they see this you know what I'm talking about. I swear every time I had a dime to write to correct false information or do something to correct a horrid image, I'd be rich.

To Team Spirit
The Ark was back in the air and to the next place where the next race would take place. But this time nobody knew just yet what it would be yet. In the meantime all they could do was get some rest. Jacob needed it for certain. After his big win the guy had done quite a few interviews and one at the Q&A panel. Luckily he had Victor and Nicholas to help him out. While those were going on, Meika herself was at the lounge. The vixen was still battling in her head of telling Nicholas her feelings for him and how sadly in the past she had once dated the asshole Pike. Ever since that near death experience, she had been even more torn. Even though it had been months by this point since meeting the husky, and while Meika knew she could trust and talk to him about almost anything, the female felt awful for these two important things, she still couldn’t. “I’ll have what she’s having,” went a voice then making her jump a little and look up from her thoughts.
It was Nicholas. He had sat down next to her and the male smiled at Meika. She had a mixed look on her face. “What…” he replied, seeing this. “Is there… something stuck in my teeth? Aw man…”
The female actually smiled. Just being with Nicholas always got her mind off of troubles. It was one of the great things about the male she loved with all her heart. “What’s the deal Nicholas?” she asked kindly. “Done with those interviews with Jacob?”
“Yeah, it took a while,” the husky answered.
“That last win’s made him more popular.”
“Yeah, that guy’s earned a break… What better way to take a break with free food?” The guy got some potato wedges like what Meika had in front of her. “Want some?”
He offered the tray to her and the vixen giggled with her eyes closed, holding up her right paw in a gentle way of saying no thanks. “How are they by the way?” Meika asked.
“How is who by the way?” Nicholas replied after swallowing his food.
“The rest?”
“Oh them? They’re fine. All things considered. Despite what’s happened during the last few races.” Meika looked down sadly.
“Hey, it’ll be alright; you’ll see,” Nicholas reassured her. “After all we’re still holding our own and we have other friends who support us.”
Meika nodded. “Right,” she agreed.
“Well, we know who they are.” The guy finished off his wedges. “Well, I’m off. See you around.”
The guy got up from his seat. “Nicholas?” Meika asked, making him stop and turn back to look at her.
“Yeah?” he replied gently.
“…I just wanted to say thanks for everything you’ve done so far. Just in case I haven’t.”
“Well it’s my pleasure Meika. I have to thank you to as well.”
“Once this is over I hope things can go back to normal as normal as they can be.”
“I hope so to,” Nicholas stated. “And maybe with something else. Just remember, if you ever want to talk, and uncomplicate things… you know where to find me.”
Meika watched him walk away, remembering his words. She decided with her resolve set after this next race, she was going to tell the husky the two most important things she needed to tell him. Just then on the T.V. in the lounge, Becks, Beaks, and Blitz came on with the announcement of what the next race was going to be. There was a bit of a funny moment with Becks trying to explain what he meant by let the cat out of the bag before the clip was rolled. It showed where the next race would take place, at Rungatunga Basin. No racing event had been held here in ages according to Becks. The clip showed the staff getting the place ready while he stated a couple more facts about this place. And the conditions here were perfect which meant it was time for a team race. Dira and Alfred explained that the racers would be split into teams of five. How this would work was because Razor wouldn’t be able to race. They had reports his car wouldn’t be ready. On top of that the feline had gotten sick. What nobody knew was that after his last loss, Lezo ordered him to stay out of this as punishment. Razor hadn’t been happy but his loyalty to his boss made him obey his orders. So now there would be an even number of racers. Then doe and buck then explained that the racers would be fighting for possession of a digital ball that would be released in the center of the arena. The two reporters went on to explain how long they had to get the ball to their team’s goal on the other side of the arena. Racers could choose to either pass the ball or take it closer to the goal. Once a team had the ball, it couldn’t be taken away from them. However, if a team didn’t score within the time limit, the ball would be returned to the center of the arena. The timer would reset, and the teams would again have to fight for possession. Becks explained the part of scoring and what was more there were two arenas for those on the blue team and those on the red team. Those from the RGP would have one and the others from Aispir would have the other. The two teams on the same side who ended up scoring the most by combining scores would win.
In Tag’s garage Miles, Meelo, and Sonny saw this announcement and weren’t pleased. They knew how well that turned out last time with a team race. Sonny tried not to. “All of King’s peons ending up on the same team,” the owl grumbled. “Getting our tails thoroughly handed to us.”
At least this time they knew they had more friends this time who would give them back up. Meelo then left to make some adjustments to his car. But in King’s office, the evil racers were meeting up. Razor wasn’t here because of his orders from Lezo. “Alright team, listen up,” Pike ordered. Axel was glaring at him with hate. “Thanks to our little helper, Xeno’s nanobots have managed to infiltrate Meelo’s security features.” The lupine meant Ashley by their helper. “They’re staying dormant for now. But pretty soon, we’ll have access to all of Meelo’s data.” Krom then raised his hand and Pike noticed. “Yes, Krom?”
“Er… why not make them… un-dormant right now?” the crocodile asked.
The lupine asshole let out a sigh. “The nanobots are powered down to avoid detection,” Pike explained. “Xeno’s sensors indicate that the containment unit has already been removed, meaning…” Krom raised his hand again. “Let me finish. Meaning that Meelo has already discovered the device.”
“And that’s not a problem?” Axel asked in his gruff voice.
“Not at all. He’ll probably assume it’s a simple scrambling device. There’s nothing there to indicate its actual purpose. So we’ll wait until Meelo has his guard down, turn on the nanobots, and find out everything he knows.” Now the reason Jessica wasn’t a target was because the male chameleon had the black box. He was more of a threat than the female reptile. “On the bright side, you don’t have to shadow Tamira anymore.”
That was said to Vyxx who was disappointed because of the past between her and the feline. Vyxx was still pissed at Tamira. That was the only reason and nothing more. King then cleared his throat. “Got something to add, King?” Pike asked with a hint of annoyance to his voice.
“There might be a little flaw to your genius plan,” the hippopotamus stated. “Won’t Meelo and his friends be wondering how the device got there in the first place?”
“Yeah… So? Let them wonder. Our agent got in and out with their task. Their job is finished and nothing to link back to us.” Pike meant Ashley, even though she told him that she had gotten caught. What the lupine didn’t know was what Ashley had stated during her escape. On top of that the asshole had no idea the racers on the side of good knew who she was really working for. Or the conversation Tag and Miles had with King.
“Are you absolutely sure about that?” the hippopotamus asked. “No complications whatsoever?”
“Uh… yeah?” Pike replied. “Is there a point you’re trying to make?”
King didn’t respond for a mini second. “No. I guess not. Just making sure, that’s all.”
“Alright. If there aren’t any more… interruptions, let’s go over the details of the next race.” While the lupine did, Axel gave King a sideways look. The avian knew this guy was up to something. Meanwhile because Nicholas and Mia were busy with their cars, Sonny was playing video games in his room to deal with the stressful situation. Meika came over to stop on by. Despite the feelings they had for the one racer from Aispir, the vixen and bear knew they still had each other as friends and nothing more. The announcements for the team lineups came on. The red team for the RGP consisted of Tag, Xeno, Axle, Sonny and Krom, while the red Aispir team had Nicholas, Daniel, Cody, Sig, and Jessica. The blue team for the RGP were Pike, Tamira, Vyxx, and Meelo while the Aispir blue team would be Rachel, Jacob, Victor, Florence, and Jessica. Miles didn’t like this. Nicholas especially since Meika was on Pike’s team. Despite how the husky didn’t yet know the secret the vixen was carrying he didn’t trust the lupine around her at all. But there wasn’t much anyone could do except be ready for anything.

Ugh, I swear my fighting against this horror... While it seems I'm getting support for my work, the ones who hate me the most for this and other correct, truthful work have more power. But I will gain even greater strength and power. For my spirit, mind, strength, spirit, and pain is far greater than theirs.
