Chapter One: First Imperial Assault
The start of a random story I had the idea to write, I plan on doing more for it later. It is pretty much a steampunk type setting, done my way. Takes place in a future where 90% of the world's population lives in floating cities or on airships way up in the sky, as pollution has caused life on the ground near impossible. There are three main areas of the world in the sky, the Pacific Sector, the Atlantic Sector, and the Antarctic Sector. Everything else is open sky that is controlled by no one, and pirates tend to attack in these lawless areas. The Roving Goddess is a very large vigilante vessel that does great in controlling pirate activity, however, the government wants to have things in their control, and makes an attempt to take the Goddess out of the sky.
