Kley is a specialized duelist that is a combination of a stance user and magus, which allows him to always be on his feet and allow him to take advantage of every situation in combat.
He's a Chinese water deer specifically, though with some notable differences. His antlers aren't actually real, as chinese water deer don't grow them usually at all, as their 'antlers' are where their teeth is.
Though just so people don't confused him with a female deer, he uses fake antlers to be able to avoid confusion.
