I don't see why not, there is another melanistic in the school. But if you want to be safe you could always say he paints over them with dye or something.

I'd rather not have to do that, as it plays into his decision to evolve in the first place. Worst comes to worst, I won't have him as a character. No big deal; I already have too many, anyway. c|

Well guess we'll have to see what happens. It would be nice to see him around but like you said it's no big deal if he doesn't.

Mm, quite the opposite. He chose to become an Umbreon so he wouldn't stick out; he was solid black as an Eevee, and was a target for teasing and other unwanted attention because of it.

Also, I should probably point out that he bleached out that strip in his hair. c|

Oh so that's it. and haha the bleached out part a good way to help keep him somewhat noticeable. Would be bad if someone's looking for him and he didn't have that bleached part they would be asking every Umbreon in the school if he's them lol.

Interesting character design, I think it'll be alright. If there's another melanistic around, no harm in one more, right?
