Giro Giro was the Monster of the week on Ep.22 of UFO robot Grendizer and marked the return of form of the Vehicle of the Saucer Beasts, the traditional disk shape Saucers. Giro was humanoid in body design, color Blue, Red, and Grey, with skinny arms and a pink color snake head with a Magnetic Disrupter mounted on top of its head and a cockpit on the forehead. In its vehicle form it could fire laser beams and unleash tractor beams from the bottom. It could also fire laser beams from its mouth and projectiles from turrets located in the chest.

When Vega becomes aware that a human scientist named of Chibana has created a Magnetic Focusing Device, the invaders become concern it would disrupt their invasion plans, Lady Gandal interludes in the conversation and suggest to steal the machine, which the parties agree to. They launch an attack on the institute with the Saucer Beast Giro Giro and kidnaps Chibana and steal the machine. Koji tries to catch up on the TFO, but the beast returned to the Mothernburn and it unleashes the Minifo attackers and they outnumbered Koji. Duke takes off on Grendizer to assist, but seen Koji going down in flames, abandons the pursuit of the warship to save him. The Mothernburn arrives to the Moon base with its cargo, Gandal then orders that weapon been installed on the beast, with Chibana strap the cockpit as a human shield.

Meanwhile the Observatory builds a device meant to counter Chibana's machine, when they are warn of the Giro Giro's attack on a mountain sky resort. Grendizer and the TFO arrive and Giro unleashes the power of the machine, trapping the two inside a Magnetic field, but with the help of the Device and the TFO, Grendizer neutralizes the net with Space Thunder hitting the poles, dispersing the net.

Giro Giro and Grendizer then fight, and the monster is overpower rapidly, but Dr. Umon informs Duke of Dr. Chibana in the cockpit. Realizing the situation Duke thinks of the means to save him as the beast takes the upper hand: Grendizer digs under the ground and comes out from behind the beast, decapitating it with the Double Harken grabbing the head and jumping out of the way as the body of the Monster explodes. Blacki and Gandal are reprimanded by King Vega for their incompetence.
