i love her at times. I try to not count it but met Robert Munsch wean i was yang .i doubt many people know who I<m talking about.he was a author and artist of children<s books. i was friends for several years with artist and writer John quagmire.the creator of demi ill bet probably still knows me i was in issue five lol. i really have to get around to trying to reconnect with them. See how he<s doing. ive bin at a convention wear some of the actors like to get cheeky and slide out among the crowd lol.i can laugh about it, but I probably shouldn<t.the guy who played Q on the next-generation delivery Lee walked. Rate by a lineup of Star Trek fans.i recognize him. After about a minute or so and I<m giggling because none of the Trekkies are recognizing him and me and a couple people at first were that guy looks familiar. Didn<t he used to run a comic book store around here and I<ve actually, I realize, too. It was. i am not the run up and bother somebody because they<re famous type. the hand Democrat. It was just so cute.i know in the 1970s and 1980s alout of famous Canadian rock singers still performed at small nightclubs and bars around Canada so if u were in the right place at the right time u cod meet the Bee Gees or rush or several other groups that were famous at the time. They sometimes pop in and play at clubs like the misty moon in Halifax, all those clubs are gone now. There are still a few DJs around that. Remember, it. Abba was another one that used to do that in the 70s. Rita McNeil and there<s a few I<m forgetting the names of.my grandfather was the manager of a series of rock bands on smalltime circuit from the 1950s to the early 70s and he over the years, met quite a few of them at different bars and clubs it was really different than it is nowadays.hell , some of Canada<s more well-known rock bands, to this day still perform at bars and clubs. Ironically.u every so often hear about the stand fields or El Toro Peto or one of about a dozen other groups who are pretty well-known here in Canada , and they<re performing at someplace like the Marigold Centeror the belly up bar and Grill.not evre one is like sting or guns and roses;). u might be surprised how many famous musicians spent most of their career till they retired, playing small venues. Quite a few actors who were big during the 1980s shuffle around the convention circuits. These days. I had always hoped to get the opportunity to meet Stan lee but things just didn<t work out for quite a few reasons.he almost never attended conventions and parts of Canada that I could get to.than i started seeing people posting videos where the man looked like a robot on a conveyor belt, and that just totally put me off altogether. Would have liked to have actually met the guy, not just been a blur of fuzziness passing a table as he frantically signed stuff.he tride too the end too . Be part of what he created.wood still love to meet Al Low.most of the people I would like to have met have all passed away or in a couple cases. I<m pretty sure they are no longer around. Guy that created Ritz, the cat trying to remember his name. Not many people realize how many famous forgotten animated films that guy was part of, such as the Lord of the rains animated trilogy and fire and ice. Everybody are members cool world and craps on him. Not realizing it was the studio that butchered it, not him. Used to know the guys name but my memories getting bad.
The closest thing to that situation I experience was that time was when I was a kid in the 90s and I got to shake the hand of former US house Representative Newt Gingrich during a school trip to DC.
Even then it wasn't exactly what I would call a thrilling experience. :P

I worked with Paxton on the set of Tombstone, and he regularly hung with the extras. Cause he too started off as an extra before becoming a star, he remembered his roots. Again, you treat a celebrity as a regular person, they are more often more open and friendly.
A bunch of us extras even quoted him from Aliens "Game over man, Game over , why don't you put the little girl in charge?" As he sat with us at lunch. Bill just laughed and said "You guys know my lines better than me!"

I met Lou at Dragoncon 96, was somewhat of a prick in attitude, he reminded me of a more polite (verbally, didn't swear ) Harlan Ellison.
Mister T was another utter asshole I met at SDCC in 1998, guy was a walking egotistical braggart. Fucker 'held court' in front of my table, fully blocking my table from potential customers as his fans swarmed him. I politely asked him to move away from my table as his actions were blocking it, he just turned his head and narrowed his eyes at me and continued his how great he is talk. I asked again, a bit more firmly, he again narrowed his eyes and actually said "You should feel honored Mister T is even here, so shut up!"
That when I broke into my Eddie Murphy " Hey Boy, Hey Boy! Not so fast, or I'll clench up my butt cheeks and rip your dick off!"
The utter glare he gave me and he started spouting off that I was a racist asshole and need to get my butt kicked. Thats when I loudly yelled for con security who rapidly showed up ( SDCC has great security) I told them that Mister T was blocking my table and refused to move away when asked twice, Mister T argued with them...and lost, they escorted him away from my area.
An hour later Darth Vader himself, David Prowse came by my table and said " I hear you managed to piss off Mister T and get security on him! Good show!"
Turned out Prowse disliked Mister T as well after dealing with him. Prowse even gave me a personally signed photograph as a reward. I still have that signed photo framed on my wall.

I met so many celebrities its not funny. I used to live a couple doors down from Lee Marvin in Tucson. Really a nice guy.
I learned early on, if you treat a celebrity as a regular person, they are alot calmer and enjoyable.
Though meeting Val Kilmer on set of Tombstone I learned Val is a method actor, meaning he stays in charcter from minute makeup is on til it comes off, on and off camera. Never met him out of makeup.

I met Kevin Harvick once. It was at a racing event in Oildale, the main redneck area in Bakersfield. The dude was fine, okay with racing a bunch of high school students (not me, but a friend of mine was doing it). Anyway, Kevin and my friend actually went head to head on this dirt track during the race.
