1990s Hong Kong 2 Dollars stackable coin ring set
The bauhinia flower engraving at the center of this coin was the feature that most drew my attention to it, but I couldn't do it justice in a ring that included the scalloped border as well. So I carefully cut the flower out to use in another project and then, as I was working on the first ring, I kept thinking that the scalloped edge could make a very unique pattern for a pair of stackable rings.
I wasn't entirely convinced about the project as it took shape...but once I took the rings out from under the polishing wheel and saw the final result I was absolutely sold. So here they are, sleek and simple and looking for an owner~
