There are countless galaxies with numerous stars, and yet the chances of a planet that can support life in each star system is one in a million. It goes without saying that it is remarkably rare for a planet to be host to such a diverse group of intelligent life. Earth is but one of the very few such planets. Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Orcs are just a few that can be listed. But among the many races of this planet, Gnolls are a truly fierce force to be reckoned with. They bear a strikingly similar appearance to one of Earth's most impressive pack hunters. Large bipedal hyena like creatures that stand at an impressive average 7 ft in height while females are often found to be much larger with an average of 8ft. Strong, fierce, intimidating, natural born warriors and very loyal overall; there are very few creatures in the universe that make for a better companion than Gnolls. They are slow to trust others outside of their clans however, those who find Gnolls as allies quickly learn that these hulking beasts race of warriors will die fighting by their side.

Subject 004 alias Shujaa, is a female Gnoll with an affinity for heavy ballistic weaponry and 5 masters degrees consisting of Weapons Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ballistic Physics, and Avionics. Subject 004 is a most curious case. Originally a Heavy Weapons Operator of the Orbital Defence Force or ODF for short, Shujaa was a master of her craft. One of the youngest members to be a part of the ODF in fact. A career cut short after a horrific drop pod accident resulting in catastrophic injuries on a routine training exercise. The result being a collapsed lung, cracked cranium, mass lacerations, 3rd degree burns, loss of an arm and an eye, several shattered bones, severe concussion, broken legs, and a broken back in 3 places. Anyone else would have perished upon impact from an atmospheric drop. She is very lucky to be alive as there was no amount of medical attention or arcane healing on Earth that could have saved her. If she were taken anywhere else aside from my medical care, my team would never have been able to save her.

It's been 5 years since the incident. Subject 004 still experiences PTSD during atmospheric turbulence during entry and refuses to enter a drop pod however, she no longer experiences phantom pains from lost extremities. Her demeanor has improved as well. No longer overly aggressive and is far more social, calm, and collected. Many improvements have also been made to maintain her health ranging from Arcane Focus, and Regenerative Gene splicing, to Neurojack Cybernetic Enhancements, and Spiritual Healing. She is still a mere shadow of her former self, but in time she will find her warrior spirit again. After all, it is her namesake. Currently she operates as one of our on ground enforcer units that deal with all manner of threats. Thanks to her natural strength boosted by cybernetics, she is capable of operating a twisted invention of her own design. It has been a very long time since I've seen a smile on that face. Admittedly there's some madness required to bring joy to a Gnoll. In this case, a Hydra Class Autocannon repurposed into a portable single operator heavy ballistics weapon. I almost feel bad for anyone caught in her sights...almost...
