I never understood how that worked. Even if you posted someone else's art and pretended like it's your own....don't YOU know that you're taking credit for something you didn't do? Is there just no shame with these people? I feel a little sick every time someone "favorites" a piece of art in my gallery that I got commissioned from someone else, and I do OWN the art. I could never imagine stealing art and taking any kind of pride or satisfaction when someone praises it.

The character designs, story and setting were all your idea.

i actually get annoyed sometime when artists DON'T sign their work, becuase if i find an amazing artist i always want to find more of thier art, and if they don't sign it, it sometimes hard to find who made it. As to why people would post your art on their own page without crediting you... i would like to say they somehow managed to forget.. but damn if they attack you like or actively try to remove your sig... WTF? I mean to me that seems just stupid... i mean it's kinda pointless to try to look at people doing completely stupid things and try to logically explain why that's stupid.. bu they might be able to block the artists but damn if that artists is even remotely popular... they aren't going to be able to block the tirade of fans of the actual artist attacking their page of the fake

The way I see it, these kind of people are soooo desperate for attention, what little following they've amassed by posting other people's art to their account is their greatest accomplishment and they will fiercly defend it because they've made it the entire foundation for their ego.

Hopefully at one point they'll grow up and do something else with their lives because otherwise that's a sad accomplishment to have in your top 1.

I might not be an artist, but I HATE people like this! If you did not draw it, then GIVE CREDIT to the artist! It is a very simple thing! Sorry that artists have to deal with people like this!

Art theft is sadly a reoccurring theme in this fandom, not to mention outside of it.

And this is why I Watermark all my art in a very hidden way. Because this s*** does happen a lot.

You don't want your art stolen. All it does is take away the views and likes the original would've gotten.

Think of it like this: You already saw the art piece, so why bother finding the original to look at and like the same image again?

Art theft only hurts the artist. Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to start an argument, I'm just sayin' it how it is.

I always give credit to the artist big or small.

This is why my art is bad, so nobody takes it.
