This was one of the pictures I started last year, based on an rp I did with a friend of mine.

He played a monk character who came to work with the vampire and demon hunters. We played with the idea that the monestary he came from had out dated information, so they were unaware the hunters had lost their way and become corrupt.

It wasn't until the monk arrived at the camp and seen for himself how the hunters were acting, he also met Abraham, who kept the monk close to him. Abe was clearly a good one, who still held the true ideals that hunters originally started out with. He divulged that there was a small group of them and they had been planning to leave but they hadn't found the right opportunity.

During his short time with the hunters, the monk also learnt of a creature the hunters referred to as "the monster" a being who had proven to be a huge thorn in their side, killed so many of their Cough "good men".

During the events the monk felt it might be in his and Abes group's best interest to appeal to this creature and form an alliance with him. They have a common enemy.
So here is my illustration of the group. Abe is scared but trying to be brave, even putting himself between the two. The monk I was going for a concerned expression but more calm, as he is trying to explain himself to this potential new ally.


Damion on the otherhand, he is trying his best not to kill the two!. He has been in this war so long, he didn't get that "monster" title for nothing. Amongst other things the hunters have done to him, they also attack him on sight when he's about, so it's habit for him to be quick to attack a hunter. The mere concept of hunters NOT wanting to hurt him, is something he finds hard to imagine.

I liked the concept so much that I wanted to make it canon, so while the monk won't neccessarily be in my canon world, the events that happened will be. So Abe and his group find somewhere safe to live and have a base of operations.
