They did a lovely job on the background here, giving the clouds a very soft texturing that was nicely detailed without distracting from the foreground stuff, while also giving the later afternoon sun shading to everything that really sets a mood with this one. As for the ponies themselves, well, I've always had a thing for Spitfire, love a lady in uniform, and Soarin is equally fun for my tastes, plus for a while the fandom thought they were probably dating, though later seasons abashed that notion. Still, love the way this one just looks so serene, like two old hands(hooves) taking a well deserved break.
