I'm probably going to upload to dA more often now that I have renewed vigor (and digital media does make cranking out work a LOT faster). I've lately been practicing anatomy, mostly gesture. I wish someone told me this years ago when I had just started dA that drawing and art is just thinking-thinking about that specific step and what you want to get out of it. Like, for this I stared with the gesture of each limb, step 2: look for the spherical and box shapes etc. Compartmentalizing my thoughts on drawing has been surprisingly helpful. I know this isn't a lot-it's shitty in several design ways, but I feel like I've a better understanding of how to think, this makes my work feel more fluid. In my eyes at least.

So, I am hoping I can actually get shit done this year and maybe have 12 major pieces done by the end of this year. I don't want to throw in the towel in this time around.
