The kobold climbed atop the large dragon's belly. His eyes narrowed as he looked down at the few pigs crawling on the ground below. Bits of armor and gold could be seen strewn about. He then looked back up at the dragon. A loud gurgling noise could be heard coming from the dragon's, seemingly-rounded belly as the kobold folded his arms. "Tudor told me to watch you, y'know. Take care of you?"
The dragon seemed to be darting its eyes everywhere but the kobold's. It was trying to avoid eye-contact as something sloshed around in its cheek.
Retorting against the silence, the kobold continued. "There was a 'fake' threat someone made against you -- saying you were terrorizing villages. A nobleman caught wind of this gold hoard and wanted it all to himself but knows it's cursed. He sent an army after you." The kobold tilted his head to the side in an attempt to see what the dragon was doing with its cheeks. "What's in your mouth?"
The dragon snorted, tilting its head up so the kobold couldn't see its cheeks... but the kobold could see the distinct bevelling of a solid object sliding down the dragon's neck. He swore it was squirming.
"That better not be the 'Army of one thousand' in there that came to slay you!" The kobold grimaced, holding a hand out. "Open your mouth!"
The dragon looked away, continuing to slosh the object in its mouth around. Its belly gurgled even more.
"Open it!" The kobold demanded. He took this position, hoping to be more of a servant to a big, strong dragon... but now he felt he was babysitting a dog....
The dragon swallowed what it had in its mouth and then opened it wide. The kobold could only stare into the giant maw, drool dripping everywhere... but there was no blood. No sign of carniage.
The kobold put a hand to his chest. "Oh, goodness...." He sighed with relief. "But that means...." The kobold looked below him at the large expanse of belly the dragon had. The scutes had little bits of showing between them, meaning the dragon's belly was expanded past its natural girth -- the dragon had stuffed itself.
"Okay, well, I'm sure if only four pigs come back from an army of 1000, they'll know not to mess with you anymore....." The kobold bent over and rubbed the dragon's belly. "Though, don't expect this belly to be getting any smaller. I think you've put on an army's worth of weight."
