Cyanne Rwotema, tiny thylacine treat, and my first character. The, uh, age of the piece shows. Like, literally, since it was pencil on paper.
Cyanne is from a now abandoned canon. She gave away her magic to an eldritch being sealed away in a locked tome in exchange for a powerful curse. She can freely control her bones and the bones of those she pierces with her own. Needless to say, she's quite popular with the snuff and gore crowd. I hear she's also quite tasty!

I am aware of them; the one affecting mice being the most common one that comes to mind. Though they tend to be specialized to lead prey species to a common predator and the predator only serves as a step in a chain of steps that lead to more prey being parasitized(some parasites go through three or more species in particularly complex stages where some hosts experience little if any effects from the parasite). I've read interesting stuff about how that particular rodent one can infect humans, but that if it has any effect at all, it only causes an affected person to be less risk averse because it's not adapted to properly influence a non-rodent brain.
