Third page of concept sketches for  sodalite 's matamata character. This page was roughing out the seated pose in full scale, deciding where the limbs and head should go. While the head looks decent held low, it needs to be higher to show off the characteristic matamata neck flaps, and also to make clear that it's holding the curvy object in its mouth.
