Here is the rough Timeline and events around Station1

The Gigats (macros) Come from their dead home world aboard their ships.
Their home world Zaught lost due to their negligence.
The Gigats come to Valo for refuge. A new home.
Unaware of the life that was there. Unaware of the Mekross (Micros)

Conflicts break out and war sparks between the two.
After a long battle with losses on both sides. The war has taken a heavy toll on the world.

The world starts to destabilize and deteriorate.

They come together to rebuild one of the Gigats largest warships.
Repurposing it as a lifeboat for both species to escape and survive.
