In a turn of events that made me smile a lot, Heartgear ( https://www.deviantart.com/heartgear ) felt like getting creative with scav outfits, with Kass as the lucky model! Love the variety on these, and her concepts on how to dress up these awkward little stilt-weasels.
And I'll say it again; if you enjoy my stuff, there's a pretty decent chance you'll enjoy hers as well, so give it a look if you haven't already!

Maaaan not only have a lot of people pointed out that these have given them a FFT vibe, but Heartgear herself cited the FFT artstyle as something of an inspiration. I think a lot of it comes from the colorful, yet desaturated color palette, as if it was painted in watercolor.
Soldier looks awesome but doesn't upset their sole advantage in combat (being dodgy, darty little jerks)? Plate armor primarily deflects edged attacks, penetrating as well (to a point), but blunt force the least, and it's heavy besides. And yinglets are at great risk of blunt force crushing their tiny little bones.
I'd think they'd do best wearing just thickly padded cloth-based armor to keep their mobility up while mitigating their biggest weakness a bit.
