"Long ago, a creature only describable as a bloodthirsty beast laid waste, levelling nation after nation.

"And so the beast was sealed, but not before it roared a premonition of it's own return.

"'There shall upon this world be born a child, and this child will have the eyes of the wyrm.

"And the day upon which I break free from my bonds, my vengeance shall be realized!'"

A new character of mine. Jesse Lindfang is a younger than he looks rat living in a world that's a strange mix of feudal and modern. He was raised in the wild, growing up alone, save for his pet, a large canine-like animal called a song-hound.

He strives to survive in a world where interdimensional beings resembling Western-style depictions of imps and demons come and go as they please, wreaking mischief and mayhem. Little does he know, he has an unrelated monster sealed up inside his own soul that enhances his physical abilities that secretly plans to get loose. (Liken him to a jinchuriki from Naruto.)

During battle, he uses his sword as well as hand to hand combat and pyrokinesis to gain the advantage. His halfjacket can be used as a magical satchel, storing an unlimited amount of anything without making it uncomfortable to wear or even be noticed. When the seal on the creature loosens, his personality changes, making his emotions unstable. If during a fight, he may begin to laugh uncontrollably, or growl and roar without provocation.
