a leaping copper fox, how quaint <3 i love him. adorable. with the bead, i wanted him to look almost as if he were chasing a lantern of sorts.
i looooove those amber glass beads. they just shine on.
also; sorry about using myself to model all these pics 8n8 i don't have a stand and its always nice to see how they would actually hang.
i am taking commissions for these:
necklaces = 20-35$ depending on complexity. necklace shown would be about 25$.
just the pendant alone would be anywhere from 10-18$, again depending on the complexity.
can come oxydized from shades of blackish to brownish, i also can polish these up to be mirror like in appearance.

i definatly plan to get into sterling silver. its just silver's prices are ungodly expensive right now, and i'd rather get my training in on a less pricey metal :B

GURL i god me a bad ass mandrel for makin' bracelets. i just don't know what yet.
eventually im going to save up what i make off jewelry and get me a dremel and a torch. then i'll make all kinds of sexy fine rings. -super excited & cant wait for anything-
technically i could make some rings right now, its just they wouldn't be closed all the way

Yeah, silver can be pretty bad. If I had some decent scraps left, I'd offer to send them. (I have tiny strips full of holes =p) Where do you get your metal? I don't know if it's still a good bet, but back in the day Rio Grande had great prices on silver and stones.
I lost 60+ hours of my life to a loop-in-loop chain. It looks neat but I don't think I ever want to make one again!
Ooooh, my favorite process was casting in cuttlefish bone! It makes some wicked organic textures. Just need a torch and a crucible. :}

WOW!!! Girl, this is awesome!!! I LOVE THIS!!! Don't even worry about changing the bead, I love the one you picked. It looks like a little lantern, just like you said! Although now, since I didn't think of it until after the fact, I wish you could have put another tail on it. Then it'd really be a personal necklace. I really love this though, it looks awesome! i just would look up several snow leapards, do some quick sketches & traces to get their body 'flow' (best way i can describe it) down, and then make my own final drafts of shapes, and let you choose from them.

yes. right now i'm offering just the pendant and a jump ring for 15$ (so you'd want to put it on your own chain)
but for the regular price of like.. 20/25-30/35 (depending on difficulty of cut, time etc) you get a chain and a bead or beads
