As dragons go, Vel is a deal gentler and kinder than many, owing to his celestial nature requiring tempering himself at best of times. But try as he might, he's still a feral dragon at the best of times, and minor slip-ups are to be expected now and then.
"Spit me out you overgrown Iguana!" Chio's voice rang out from the dragon's throat as the figure inside stretched and thrashed and fought every step of the way. All it took was a few seconds of lost control in the presence of his friend for Vel to decide the avian scientist would look better on his scales. Once the feelings of predatory lust settled down Vel was left staring down at a cerulean-blue drool-drenched hand reaching out of his glowing gullet, grabbing his tongue and jaw and trying to fight the apex predators' muscular action.
"S-sorry Chio, my control slipped." Vel responded back, the motions of his throat to speak causing that hand to lose its grip. He felt bad, he'd feel awful if it wasn't safe for him in there, but thankfully it was a simple matter to recover the bird by spitting him out or reviving him later. That and the iguana comment somewhat agitated Vel so he felt like this was a fair trade. One hard gulp dragged that drool-soaked hand into the back of his throat, followed by a hard swallow that sent that squirming bulge down to the depths of his stomach for whatever the dragon had in store next.
He'd have so much apologizing to do later, but the full belly and lingering taste of friend was appeasing his feral instinct far too much to care at the moment.
Hey look, Vel stuff! I've given my main boy a lot of love since his new ref came in, and this is just more and more of that. I wanted to get another commission from Viv since he did so well at the last one with Vel's old design. And since it came with a free prey slot of my choice, I asked around and Chio agreed to be the (un?)fortunate soul that got gulped by an instinct-hazed feral. Also, it's such a minor detail but one that I'm absolutely in love with how you can see the harder scales on Vel's throat distending and squishing around the softer white scales, adds a beautiful level of realism to it.
