It is always a balancing act, with some people falling more on the animal like realistic side, while others are more strongly anthropomorphized or cartoonish.
But I do think it is really fun whenever the peculiarities of an animal species find their way into the design of the anthro and create an aesthetically appealing result.^^
...and I always like seeing people do cute and sexy lapines.^^
