Here's an interesting nature fact: Many mammalian species store their Dignity directly in their fur. If you were to shave or otherwise ruin their noble lustrous coats, you would not just be removing hairs, but you would also be taking away their Pride and Honor receptacles until they grow back. Shaving an animal naked would completely remove all their Dignity too. Could you imagine a wolf without his beautiful fur coat, but instead bare pink naked? That would be ridiculous and should be laughed at. How could you call a wolf without his fur a wolf? Wouldn't look like something wild and free, it would look more like some kind of groomed domesticated mutt to be trained and ordered around~
