Just some thoughts I had on comparing the two creatures that appear in the LARP that I play. You can pretty much lump this in with the umpteen other Furry vs. Were drawings out there.
WOLVEN
Overall: Basic proportions of a burly human, covered in hair, with a tail.
1 - Head and face are largely humanoid. Has hair, eyebrows, and may grow longer facial hair. Muzzle is fairly short, and ears are set on the sides of the head.
2 - Hands and feet are only slightly paw-like, and both have five digits. They possess hairless pads, and digits appear to have one less joint than a human.
3 - Plantigrade gait
WEREWOLF
Overall: Stooped, feral appearance, equally comfortable on two legs or four. Minimal human traits.
1 - Head and face are extremely wolflike, though may have the appearance of brows. Ears are set atop the head. Extremely heavy muzzle anchors impressive array of oversized, lethal teeth.
2 - Werewolf often show traits from their non-transformed state. This may include horns for certain fae, unusually pointy ears for an elf, etc. Individuals with very long hair may display this in their mane when transformed.
3 - Body structure is generally narrow and deep like a quadruped, not broad like a human.
4 - Hands and feet are extremely pawlike, with enormous talons. Hind paws have only four digits, like a wolf. All digits appear to have one less joint than a human.
5 - Digitigrade gait
