SFW Sylph Tatterwing reference sheet
Goodness have mercy, it took so many hours to make a ref sheet on Autodesk sketchbook on the phone xD This is probably the hardest thing I have ever drawn and taken the most dedication and my arm is ready to die
But overall I'm so happy and love my reference sheet so much. This is Sylph's very first reference sheet! I'll update later with a NSFW version maybe, if anyone thinks it would be a good idea. I'm gonna chuck a bunch of information in here so if you don't wanna read a whole damned novel, TURN AWAY AND RUN D: THE TL;DR IS UPON YOUUUUUU
///////////////////////
Sylph Tatterwing, female Western dragoness.
An air elemental dragon, Sylph's breath power is a plasma wind that seems to be made of multicoloured light. The ultraviolet plasmaness (I am not a physicist) of the breath rips and burns flesh, bone, and objects to tattered crisps, and blows hard enough like a wind to knock things around and cause damage.
She stands a whopping 7'0", and is stacked with curves and muscles befitting a powerful creature of legend such as a dragoness.
Her scales are the colour of tungsten and desert sand. Membranes and flesh should be a bright and glossy jelly green colour, with sapphire shadows and pale yellow highlights. Her head has four glossy black horns and her tail has four glossy black thagomizers. The horns and thagomizers grow out into crystals the same iridescent jelly green as membranes and flesh, but are translucent. Her pupil is sapphire blue, and her iris is jelly green. The whites of her eyes are sky blue.
Her hair should be one large floating nebulous mass of fluffy soft radicalness; it should resemble a sky blue cloud. She has plantigrade feet that somewhat resemble a humans but have four toes and long claw-like toenails. Her body is adorned with scattered gem-like plate scales, which match the iridescent jelly theme.
Her teeth are arranged exactly like a t-rex's. She possesses a cloaca similar to a crocodilian's and it functions in much the same way. Her wing membranes have quite a few holes and moderate tattering. She is obsessed with jewelry, gems, and precious metals, and can often be seen wearing bracelets, rings, necklaces, circlets, horn and tail cuffs, toerings, anklets, etc. As an air elemental, it makes sense that she loves to sing more than anything in the world. Not pictured is her forked tongue.
