Piece is for "Colton Reye" (No FA that I'm aware of) and he said "Here's my character, SFW, GO!"
So I did.
My big goal with this piece was to ONLY use gouache. I've been using a mix of gouache and watercolor because, one, gouache is expensive and, two, gouache is much more difficult to use than watercolor and I was easing myself into it. Excuse one got knocked off because someone bought me a pack of fucking WINSOR NEWTON gouache (which is about as good as it gets) and I wanted to see what I could do and I am VERY pleased with the results. I was able to do stuff with the musculature and shading that I could NEVER have done with watercolor so expect more of this strange medium in the future!
