Perhaps he's easiliy distracted... or perhaps his meditation on All That Is actually helps him focus and appreciate these first soft visitors of winter. Being part of nature is itself being connected to it, and connection is at the heart of meditation. Your drawing of several snowflakes in different shapes tells me that he, in effect, sees them this way -- as individual, unique entities. That much depth of thought and perception is part of meditation as well. I like this work very much.
