Well, this is my first attempt at fic writing in a while, as well as the first here.
I should point out that the setting (unlike the characters) is from the Animals of Farthing Wood series by Colin Dann, dont be suprised if you havn't heard of it, it dropped off the radar in 1995 and is practicly unheard out outside the UK and Germany, and even there it's very minor.

Very good start to this :) Some nice improvements from some of your previous works, especially with the description. The way you described the hunting scene was excellent. It really adds that little bit more to the story ;) And I'm liking the story so far as well. ^_^ This will be very interesting, especially if Rul get's attracted to Vrede.
