Yeah she was a great character at the time. KelvinTheLion is pretty into that character too that inspired his Macropod madness comic and world.

Oh yeah? =D I've never seen one in the wild. The Valley Mall arcade had some pretty obscure shit in its heyday, I've never heard ANYONE talk about Mr. Do, but I've never seen a Kangaroo machine.

Oh dang I don't remember now. Was either an episode involving a magician and a white squirrel or one that had something to do with a pirate ship.

I'm English and I never saw Saturday Supercade; it must have been an American thing. I did, however, discover the concept on YouTube not long ago, when I accessed a huge collection of 80s cartoon intros. Kangaroo was the show that appealed to me the most of that collection.
It's crazy how many weird and wonderful shows they had back then. There were cartoons based on Laser Tag, Rubix cubes, Dungeons & Dragons, Gary Coleman, The Dukes of Hazzard and lots more. It was much more consumerist than shows today.

I swear there must have been a new saturday morning cartoon, on average, for every week of the 1980s. There's just so many of them.

Kangaroo was probably my favorite old video game (in fact my namesake, Tim_Kangaroo, was inspired by the video game).

I also loved Mr. DO! A friend and I would go to various restaurants and arcades just to play it. Mr. DO! was a conversion kit so half the fun was trying to figure out which game it used to be. We eventually bought a "cocktail table" version for ourselves.
