Holy shit the improvement in just a few months! The last one was pretty good, but I was working with no references. I'm soooooo much happier with this one. It's framed better and the lighting and just- mmmm. I love this picture.
I like the feel of this a lot and the lighting really did it for me. The lineart took a lot less time than I thought it would, and overall I've begun to notice things coming more naturally to me. Not to say this was quick and easy though, it still took around 4-6 hours or so.
Fun fact! The background is pulled from a screenshot I took while playing Kaazkun. I plan on doing more scenes like this, too. They're really fun, and I love putting my characters into their 'natural habitat' :>
