The Water Dragon's flood of Faron Woods took the Kikwis completely by surprise. While the other Kikwi were able to make it to safety before the water rose too high, poor Machi here couldn't quite make it in time. Being completely unable to swim, he can't do much other than watch his bubbles rise to the surface far above him as he sinks to the floor of the forest he calls home...

So I was watching someone stream Skyward Sword earlier today, and he was playing the part of the game where Faron Woods is completely flooded, and... well, let's just say it inspired me a lil bit x3

During this part of the game, the Kikwi, the residents of the forest, are all standing on top of lilypads and logs on the surface of the water, since they can't actually swim. So, this is basically an alternate scenario of what might happen if one of 'em didn't quite make it to safety in time. And of course I went with Machi, just 'cus he's the cutest one :3

It was kinda difficult to find a map that had a similar enough style to Faron Woods to use here, but honestly, I'm just glad I was able to find a passable one at all, since the vast majority of GMod maps are done in a realistic style, and most of the few that weren't just didn't have the right general atmosphere to fit. Once I found one, though, it was just some fog and a buncha post-processing effects to give it the "completely flooded" effect c:

By the way, I believe this is the first ever picture in existence depicting one of these guys underwater. If I'm wrong about that, PLEASE let me know <3
