After a kind of writers block moment i'm glad to be back on track. Although i've got some idea where i plan to go from here, i'd say there's likely to be more delays.
I'd been hoping to save alot of these ideas for later chapters but to be honest i probably wasn't going to come up with any ideas of where to go so heck enjoy!

Bah the popes meant to be completely thinking of god sadly it means ANYONE can look up to him and say he's a true man of god.
But to be honest I don't give a damn about the pope, only figure head i refer to is god - I don't need anyone else lecturing about me going to hell when I clearly am going to be already xD

And that's my main problem with organized religion. Why is any one man better than others at talking with an imaginary friend on the silence of his soul? Why would the pope be better? If God truly knew you, why would one turn to the Pope, if God could tell you what is best for YOU, if you listen?
And that's another thing I don't like about religion. Waving eternal damnation or doom in the faces of good honest people to scare them into submission. So long as you're a good person, and you seek to be good, who is anyone to tell you you're going to hell? I'd say he would go to hell, because he is trying to impose his values over you, seeking to lower you. How is saying someone is going to hell in any way a good thing?

Kinda hypocritical, we could debate all this crap for ages - I don't honestly care much of it as long as they keep it away from me and in my opinion if you're battered into submission by such hypocritical beliefs then you probably deserve it since you're so stupid.

Ijust don't understand how some people can put their lives in the hands of their common imaginary friend. God will not feed you, or keep you fed. You will have to work for yourself to do that. He will keep you happy though, if you believe enough in him.

Casual religion is pretty much the only reason why I don't despise religion completely, it means you can have faith, feel that if you do the right thing there's someone who'll reward you in some way. To the average day to day person who has to work most of their week and free time away needs to be able to believe the greater good is all for something and that doing well will eventually reward them.
And i agree with the meme idea - you can go find a picture go with it x3 preferably a picture of something hypocritical and stupid and religious - bonus points for something from the westro baptist church. Never gets old mocking them

To me, I dunno, I feel that if you need to be motivated by the fact that someone will reward you in a hypothetical future life, is it really generosity? I just give because I like giving, and seeing smiles on people's faces. And as for casual religion, I agree, there has got to be a reason people who are casually religious make up the majority. Notice how extremists are the ones who are more likely to commit atrocities or do/say bad things about their fellow man? :p

Generosity? We're only human, you could even go as far as saying you only give to see peoples miles because it makes you smug if you wanted to be extreme. I lost a lot of faith in humanity if you haven't noticed x3.

Well, you've still got some more than me left! :p I find it half funny half depressing how being in groups make people do really stupid things to themselves and to one another. 95% of the population is just fine if you look at them by themselves, but when you lump them all together, the % of friendly groups drops dramatically.

Best thing to do when you lose all faith in humanity is just be completely smug about it. If everyone else is an idiot - that makes both of us awesome :D
I.E Look on the bright side of life,l people are going to be stupid if you're smug about being smarter than them or not. At least get an ego boost out the stupidity which is the world as we know it today xD

I just take the position that since I'm a human, and all humans are morons, therefore I am a moron too. However, I am less of a moron than others because I can see this and they can't/refuse to see, so I can be condescending because of that

The poor should get rich and the rich poor, but what kind of economy would that be? It's sad, but survival of the fittest shows that there will always be rich and poor. It's up to a system (normally socialist) to try to close the gap as much as possible and spread richness more evenly. And very true, people who have everything do not appreciate what they have.
