It's a sexy car, and my dad also owned one when i was born and he misses it, would be nice to give him "his car" again.

Yea. he's about to be 64 and has COPD and still work his butt off....would be nice to make him happy. His 69 442 was a Hurst option too, candy apple red white vinyl top and hood stripes. Had a 455 bored .030 over. made around 512hp at the wheels. one day it was raining and he hit some iol on the road....oil and fresh rain do mix.....and slid through a 3 way and ripped the under carrage out of it. He sold the motor to a friend for a stock car...friend never ran it. Dad found another 69 Cutlas that needed a motor, was red with black top and hood stripes, auto. He put the 442 had it still when I was born....it was having trans issues and dropped a lifter again (did a lot) and he traded it for a work truck that he needed at the time. Truck was mean too, but the cab mounts were bad...to this day he regrets the trade. Also never dreamed that $4000 car would now be worth as much as 45,000.....

Ah man... Hope he gets his car back.
