I've been a huge fan of medieval fantasy for years now. Elder Scrolls, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, I really enjoy it all. In terms of medieval fantasy regarding the furry fandom, I've noticed the medium is sorely under represented save for dragons, with one major exception.

I've been a fan of  MoodyFerret's medieval ferret boys Jarreth and Kimber ever since I joined the fandom, and I knew some time back that I wanted to create a medieval fantasy character of my own. Thus I approached her to make a medieval ferret of my own, since ferrets are rare and under represented in and of themselves. Thus Desmond was born. This character has been months in the making, even before I approached Moody I spent weeks feverishly working on his backstory, worbuilding and much more. Only today am I finally ready to unveil him to the world. I'm also outlining and drafting and episodic novel starring Desmond as well as MoodyFerret's Jarreth and Kimber where each chapter will be released exclusively here on FA.

In summary, Desmond was a noble with a demanding father that sat on the council that served as the central government for the various animal nations that make up the megacontinent of Yukyndra, on the planet of Esoterra. Desmond fell in love with another noble, a deer named Cedric, who was studying under Desmond's father Julian as a squire. Julian caught them together and had Cedric executed on the spot in a blind rage. As vengeance, Desmond burned his family estate to the ground, saving only his ancestral family sword and traveling to the mountain fortress of a guild of protectors known as the Order of Sentinels, where he hoped to better himself and the lives of others in Cedric's memory.
