“You didn’t tell me that thing could follow you here!!” Scowled Hula Girl as we ran along the beach, the spectral beast known as The Wraith not far behind us, the cold mist rolling off of it freezing the sand and the edge of the water as it floated along.
“I didn’t know it could,… my island didn’t exactly come with instructions” I replied, sidestepping to avoid a spray of bone shards from the pursuing villain.
“Well,… how do you fight this thing on your -- AHH!!” Both of us jumping back as a bolt of lightning streaked through the air between us, narrowly missing us.
“We have to get out of the open,… find some cover, so we can get in close and attack,… the jungle maybe?”
“No,… I’ve got a better idea,… follow me” Hula Girl grinned and veered away from the beach quickly, as I turned to follow, our foe trailing behind us, but its howls let us know it was still following.
It wasn’t long before I realized where we were heading, and not much longer before we reached it, passing through some old cavern to arrive at the lower rim of one of the volcanoes on Coconut Island. The heat would likely have been too much for anyone else, but not for me and Hula Girl,… hopefully our foe wasn’t as fire-proof as we are. I could feel my hair flower pulsing, and saw it starting to glow from the corner of my eye,… drawing in the elemental essence that was abundant in volcanic areas,… before long I felt it invigorating me,… I think Hula Girl felt it too. With only a nod to each other we both got out of sight and waited as The Wraith floated into the volcanic region. As he neared the edge of the lava pool, looking around for us, we both came out of hiding, taking up position on each side of our enemy, who turned, facing us, his back to the lava.
“Ahh,… clever girls,… you think to lure me into a trap,… but it will take more than a little heat to deal with me,..” He extended his clawed hands, lightning starting to crackle across them as white flame blazed from his eyes, and the cold mist that rolled off of him intensified, the smoke and heat in the area shifting so much you could feel it. “How pathetic,… your feeble ---”
That’s it, just keep talking,… our feeble efforts,… our inevitable doom,… blah, blah, blah,…. I could hear the tell-tale hum of his power building, but I could see the heat of the nearby lava dissipating the cold mist, which he was trying harder and harder to create. I held my spear back in one hand, and drew one my knives in the other,… the hum was getting louder,… Hula Girl leveled her spear and took up an attack stance, waiting for the right moment. We have to time this just right,… Still talking,… wait, what was that? Is he just making up words at this point? … I think he is,…. the hum is getting louder,… smoke and mist swirled across the area as the lava flared,…. hummm,…. almost,…

Another incredible image from the Tuesday Chibi Stream of
shonuff44 Of his character, Hula Girl, and my character, Ember, facing off against the villainous Wraith, in a volcano.
I love how this one turned out so much,… my Ember looks so fierce, a real headstrong jungle warrioress,.. yet still so adorable in chibi style. Hula Girl looks so beautiful and graceful, her posture makes me think of a ninja or martial artist, in battle stance, waiting for just the right moment to attack. Of course, the Wraith looks so sinister, and the pose Sho put them in just seems to scream Villain Speech, as he gathers power to attack the two jungle girls. The volcano background seemed a fitting stage for this battle, and between the glow of the lava and the swirling of the smoke and heat the whole area seems alive and reacting to this impending fight. Truly an epic looking battle picture between three powerful, yet adorable, chibi characters. What happens next, well, I’ll leave that to the imagination, for now.
What do you think? :D

Indeed it can be, and yeah, Sho certainly did, even got the runes on the shackle, and I agree, the glow effects are a very nice accent to this piece. Thank you, I'm still trying to get the hang of little write ups like this, and this one was abit different from previous ones, I'm glad to hear you liked it.
