So as the title says he had his first yearly checkup at the vet today. As much of a pain as it can be driving 50 minutes there I'm still glad to. Because the doctor was really excited to see how much he's grown this year and I mean I've been going there for 15 years now, so may as well keep going as long as she's still there working.

But he's around 108 lbs now. I figured he wouldn't have gained much since he got weighed at that vet in town. He also got called handsome probably at least 10 times while we were there. Also the good news, since she didn't know about it yet, is she said his leg feels like it's doing fine. So that was great to hear. Granted if he goes on long walks or even if I take him outside around the house for a while I'm still putting that leg brace on him. Because I don't need him to injure himself again. Though like the vet said and I know I need to start him on it either way is some glucosamine. Because I know it'll help him overall being such a big dog.

Though after we were done I took him for a run at the park for about half an hour. I know he was glad to be home though after it all because he crashed as soon as we got there.
