I can't explain why dog-people would own dogs. Perhaps its similar to humans having pet monkeys.
But anyways. Malameux is teasing the dog.
He insisted I drew a picture for him, so I drew him this (and colored it terribly) I haven't really been uploading much because I've been drawing lame stuff like this. But at least it is fun to draw.

This is cute, but once again, muzzle is too thick, , the nose looks rather fat and odd, could make it smaller. The comparison between the dog and the 'named' character is unusual. But if you are going to do cartoon, its best not to mix it with semi-realism. The dog's paw looks cut off, try making it flow, and shade it please.
As for the dog again, the neck should not be so straight, and you should add some curves since you are drawing a dog, not a stick. The back should have an inner curve too. As for the character, please add some more shading, it will look better like that.
